Came here on a Tuesday night & it was jam packed & busy. It was a 40 minute wait to get seated. Once we were seated, we were served fairly quick. Once we ordered, it took about 10 minutes before the appetizers came out then another 30 minutes before our pizzas came. The vibe here is bustling with energy. Lots of noise from the kitchen, drinks being made at the bar, and people chatting. It is a big cozy, we were sat right next to another couple & it felt like we were on a double date since our tables only had a couple inches of space between them. The caesar salad was good, I didn't like that I had to cut it up though, I would've liked for it to just be cut before. The meatballs were yummy & very tender, not dry at all. The sauce was flavorful & fresh basil added a nice touch. The garlic bread that came with the meatballs was very hard & crunchy tho. It cut up my mouth a bit. We asked for bread & it was nice with the olive oil. I ordered the house made lemonade & it was delicious & refreshing. Definitely had that home made taste. The pizza was delicious, but I don't get the hype. The wait times were very long & the food was good but just not as great as I was expecting. This place is pricey, probably the most expensive pizza I've had in my life. Overall, it was a nice place for a date & to experience once but i'm not sure if I will be returning due to the price.

We arrived at 9 for 2 people and were seated in 10 minutes. We were originally quoted a 30 minute wait, but we settled for bar seating which was quicker. Ken's is tucked in the neighborhood and we only found out about it when we were going to Cheese & Crack down the street the day before. It's super busy and packed! We ordered a few drinks to start and our pizzas came in 20 minutes. Not sure if that's the standard but the wait was worth it!! I asked for a side of chili flakes and the server also gave me sea salt--what a combo. I had the fennel sausage & onions pizza and my boyfriend had the prosciutto. We both liked mine more and sprinkling the chili flakes & sea salt made it even better. The crust was soft and pillow-y, just really good or one of the best in general. It's not your typical Caesar's or stale-tasting crusts. Portions are great and many people take home leftovers (we did too). This was one of our favorite Portland meals and I highly recommend visiting.

Went to Ken's with a friend from out of town, when we got there it had a 30 min wait as the place was packed so we knew it was gonna be good. Once I got seated I looked over the menu and saw the "Brooklyn" which had tomato sauce, mozzarella, O.P. Capicollo, pickled jalapeño & mikes hot honey. The waiter brought it out and the crust looked great as well as the whole pizza in general, I took the first bite of the side of the piece to get some of the crust along with the toppings and it was great! The crust had a little crunch but yet was chewy and absolutely delicious, all the toppings gave a little kick with spice but all together was again delicious! The staff was all very friendly & the half our wait to be seated was well worth it. Definitely give this place a try! I'll be going back again

Atmosphere: Nice atmosphere Food: The pizzas were good but given the long wait lists and hype, I thought it was not quite as good as hyped up to be. Neapolitan style is one that is easy to find around town so I would probably go elsewhere for the shorter lines. It was good though. Really enjoyed the wine too which I don't usually like Price: Price was reasonable especially given the crowd and hype Service: Excellent service Parking: Street parking

Wood Fire Pizza and it was amazing! Service was excellent. Make a reservation. Busy and bustling. The meatballs were insane! Caesar Salad was one of the best. I had no idea this place existed before tonight and I feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon it.

Ken's Artisan Pizza is a testament to simplicity done right. From the classic Margherita to the hearty pepperoni, each pizza is a masterpiece of flavor and craftsmanship. Since this is a popular spot, make sure to come 20-30 minutes before opening for a "short" wait time. The ambiance is fancy, dimmed, and intimate. The staff at Ken's are friendly and efficient. They're always ready with a smile and a recommendation. Out of the four pizzas we grabbed, my favorite has got to be the classic margherita with my least favorite being the mushroom (too dry). Would recommend this place for the experience!

Looking to wine and dine with pizza as your entree? Forget that these folks rank #3 in the usa, Ken's seems consistently busy every time my daughter would pick up her pie to go at this spot in Portland's Kerns area so it was worth checking out the hype, right? Growing up in The Bronx, you better know your pizza, but nothing tops a Neapolitan for me. Ok...fine....I've never been to Naples....but I love a tasty Neapolitan made right and Ken's, is nice. My daughter and I had a 45 min. My pro tip would be (if time is right) to head next door for like an appetizer and a cocktail to pass the time. Even when we were finished next door, we still waited at Ken's and seated in their 'waiting area' in the back and ordered wine. This space is big and seating goes all the way to the back. There's even a counter and hi-tops but we got a table. And several wooden barrels serves as tables for their crusty bread to rest on or, to hold clean plates to set the next table. The mood is right and no one is uptight. Servers are wonderful and full of smiles. This isn't the place for a slice- their pies range from the $high teens to $mid-20s which was perfect. My kid and I settled on the Mushroom pie with 3 cheeses. I kept mine as is that called for no sauce, but she, requested tomato sauce on hers and turned out to be mind-blowing. First of all, the tomato sauce these folks use is JUST tomato and none of that thyme this and oregano that nonsense which I despise on my pizza. And second, it's a light tomato sauce smear. That sucker was great! The pizza is on the thin-full side (actually expected it to be thinner) and the crust, has nice air bubbles and a chew. Still tasty all around.

We tried dining at a Ken's in 2023 just to be told the wait list was closed and to come back in a couple of hours. This year, we decided to arrive on a Friday night at 8:45pm, only had to wait 15 minutes and finally got in! We shared a fennel, sausage, and onion pizza, the Caesar salad, and meatballs. The best bite of the night for me were the meatballs. 4 meatballs came with an order which was served with very crusty, garlicky toasted bread that was heavily drizzled with olive oil. It was SO good dipped in the marinara that was swimming around the meatballs. The Caesar salad was very good, though needed more salt or anchovies to make it pop. The romaine was crisp and salad itself was flavorful. My main critique is that it comes with full romaine leaves so you have to cut it yourself. Wouldn't be a problem if the plate and tables weren't so small, so the leaves kept falling off onto the table. We managed, of course, and sent back an empty plate. The pizza was very good, crust was phenomenal and had such a nice chew. I thought the flavors went nicely together, was fennel forward, and the sausage was yummy. I had one slice and the hubby polished the rest off. The service was exceptional, company was perfect, and people watching was just as fun.
